About Ozone Therapy
Ozone therapy is a complementary therapy and not a replacement for conventional medical treatment.
It is a powerful form of oxygen that when your body is exposed to it, it triggers biological reactions that increase your cells ability to produce ATP (energy your cells use to work), fight inflammation and clean up toxins.
O2 (Oxygen) and O3 (Ozone), together form a supercharged oxygen that is more reactive.
How Ozone Therapy Works
It works by creating a small controlled oxidative signal in the blood. This triggers your body to activate its natural defence and repair systems, helping improve oxygen use, support energy production, and promote overall balance and recovery.
Procedure
A small amount of blood is drawn into a sterile, closed IV system. (100 - 200ml)
A small dose of anticoagulant is added to prevent the blood from clotting while it is outside the body and during ozonation.
The blood is carefully mixed with a precise concentration of medical-grade ozone and then slowly returned to the body through the IV line.
The Hive Ozones approach
Ozone does not work on a 'More is Best' principle.
Escalation is gradual and doses are individualised.
Recovery is prioritised.
The aim is maximum benefit not maximum dose.
Ozone Therapy May:
Improve oxygen utilisation
Boost the immune system
Activate the body's antioxidant system
Boost circulation and blood flow
Reduce inflammation
Increase energy levels
Improve mental clarity and a overall sense of well being

Feeling tired or slightly lightheaded dizziness, mild headache/ flu like symptoms, temporary nausea, local irritation / bruising at the injection site.
Less common but possible:
Low blood pressure or lightheadedness - Due to vasodilation effects of ozone.
Temporary increase in pain or inflammation - A response to immune activation.
Dark or red urine due linked to detoxification or, rarely, red blood cell breakdown at higher doses
Very rare risks:
Air embolism minimised by the safety mechanism of the equipment used.
